To be successful in this position, you will: Hold Electrical Trade qualifications, relevant licensing, a C Class Driver Licence, General Induction Card, and the ability to obtain Hepatitis A/B and Tetanus immunisations. Demonstrate strong experience in the installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical systems, equipment and control/telemetry infrastructure. Apply sound knowledge of the Electrical Safety Act, Regulations, standards and codes, ensuring all work meets regulatory and legislative requirements. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently using appropriate testing equipment, tools and troubleshooting methods. Contribute to planned and preventative maintenance programs to optimise the reliability and efficiency of water, wastewater and waste assets. Inspect, audit and verify electrical work for regulatory compliance, providing recommendations for improvements where required. Work effectively within a team, showing strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Support contract management, programming and scheduling of works, including accurate reporting and documentation. Be willing to work across the Isaac region, participate in rostered hours and the on‑call roster, and travel to various sites as needed. Successfully complete pre‑employment medical, functional capacity and behavioural assessments, ensuring fitness for work.
