**About the Opportunity**
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Social Work Department at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals to help lead the social work service in the expanding clinical areas of acute adults and aged care. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader (Social Worker Level 4) to guide the Acute Adults and Aged Care Social Work team. You will be working alongside a team of Level 1/2 and Level 3 Social Workers as well as have the opportunity to work in the broader MDT including Social Work Assistants, nursing staff and other allied health departments.

**What You'll be Doing**
This position is responsible for providing professional leadership and team management to Social Work staff located within the clinical areas of acute adults and aged care of Campbelltown and Camden Hospital.
The successful applicant will lead and oversee the provision of a Social Work service to consumers and their carers in the area of clinical areas of acute adults and aged care and ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes that are consistent with SWSLHD policies and procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct.

The Team Leader is expected to provide leadership in quality activities, manage specific projects, and assist in human resource management and other relevant departmental administrative duties.

**How to Apply**
- A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Extensive post graduate experience working as a Social Worker in relevant clinical areas, including a demonstrated understanding of the health setting, complex health conditions and the impact on wellbeing.
- Demonstrated experience in providing guidance, leadership and management of a social work team.
- Demonstrated advanced communication skills (verbal and written), including excellent negotiation, complex decision making and advocacy skills and demonstrated computer skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to staff and students.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
