Overview
$33.38 per hour award rate with annual review
Regular days of work Monday to Friday 7am to 1pm
Located on a main bus rote with bus stop nearby
Free onsite parking available
We require the service of a yard hand to assist with cleaning of the property, internal and external property presentation and maintenance.
You will perform general cleaning duties including car park and yard presentation, vacuuming, mopping floors, window cleaning, assisting hotel staff with rubbish, stock and setting up bars will also be required.
In addition some maintenance duties including liaising with external contractors, painting, timber refinishing, equipment repairs, minor plumbing, changing light globes, cleaning gutters and assisting hotel staff with rubbish, stock and general requests.
The successful applicant will:
- Be able to work consistently with positive attention to detail
- Be organised and planned in their approach to work
- Have previous experience staying on task with daily, weekly, monthly and seasonally required tasks
- Be trustworthy and prepared to undergo a police check
- Be efficient and prioritise tasks well
- Previous experience providing maintenance in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
