Urgent Care Nurse Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Rockhampton Urgent Care Service. As a vital member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients presenting to the urgent care service receive appropriate care in collaboration with registered nurses.
The successful candidate will have current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse and must be available evenings and weekends. Experience in a primary care setting, with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail are essential.
* Provide high-quality patient care for injuries or illnesses.
* Perform care activities including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education.
* Conduct diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition as directed by the RN.
