Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a fantastic Aboriginal Health Service in South Australia to help them find an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join their team.You will be working for an Aboriginal Health Service who provide culturally appropriate primary healthcare to Aboriginal people in South AustraliaJob Details: Salary of up to $111,032.77 per annum depending on experience On top of your base salary, you will receive; $4,700 rural and remote incentive payment, an extra allowance of up to $5,309 if you have a post grad certificate and 11.5% superannuation Fully furnished accommodation provided FREE for the duration of the contract Permanent fulltime position on a 12-month contract Relocation assistance available Working clinic hours only, allowing you plenty of time to explore the area and its surroundings! As the Mental Health Nurse, you will work closely with clients, families, and a team of allied health professionals to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Your work will focus on early intervention, culturally safe care, and advocacy for clients within a trauma-informed framework.Key Responsibilities: Provide mental health assessments, care planning, and case management Deliver culturally sensitive support and psychoeducation Collaborate with local health, social, and community services Participate in mental health promotion and early intervention programs Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for clients and staff You will be living in a stunning part of South Australia, in a small rural town with a population of approximately 13,515 people. You will be surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, from the rugged beauty of the Flinders Ranges to the tranquil shores of Spencer Gulf. To be eligible for this position you must: Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions At least 1 years recent Mental Health Nursing experience Be able to commit to a 12-month contract Understanding and /or knowledge of the issues faced when delivering mental health programs within an Aboriginal Primary Health Care setting based within a rural environment. Must have full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship).
