Overview
HP3 Social Worker required for locum with
remote health service based in South West Queensland,
approximately eight hours drive from Brisbane or a short flight. You will join an allied health team of 25 and cover a varied caseload including:
Deliver high level rural generalist social work services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for children, families and adults.
Demonstrate high level rural generalist social work clinical services across a varied range of clinical areas including complex casework across the following domains including, but not limited to, acute, subacute, emergency, maternity, palliative, adult, child and family, outpatient and outreach clinics.
Demonstrate high-level knowledge and understanding required to exercise independent judgement around health issues related to the impact of child and family issues, ageing, acute and chronic disease and significant clinical expertise and collaborative, evidence based social work interventions in the provision of services in a generalist capacity across a broad range of conditions and settings.
Demonstrate a high level of understanding around statutory processes and ability to negotiate complex processes through QCAT, The Public Trustee and The Office of the Public Guardian.

Candidates with QLD Health credentialing OR a current state/federal police check and Blue card preferred

ASAP start for 4 weeks + possible extension
$200 each way for travel and FREE accommodation provided
Locum rates up to $75 + super (depending on experience)
