Linemarking Specialist

Key Responsibilities
1. Work independently with minimal supervision, supporting and guiding other team members as needed.
2. Learn to safely operate Rural Linemarking Services fleet of Linemarking machines and assist with their maintenance.
3. Participate in setting up, dismantling, and preparing Linemarking machines for use.
4. Contribute to providing mobile traffic control for all Linemarking activities, including driving light vehicles.
5. Collaborate with Work Supervisors and Team Leaders to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards, aligning with TfNSW policies.
6. Be prepared to spend up to 80% of the working year living away from your home base.
7. Receive training to meet the challenges and requirements of the role.
From routine delineation maintenance projects to special line mark programs, you will be responsible for carrying out all activities associated with the safe operation of Linemarking machines and completing related traffic control support, labouring, and driving tasks.
Requirements
1. Possess a current NSW Driver's Licence.
2. Hold a valid Construction Industry White Card.
3. Demonstrate the ability and willingness to perform labouring tasks, work effectively within a team, and communicate clearly with staff, community members, and external providers.
4. Show a readiness to undertake training to obtain certification in SafeWork NSW's WH&S Traffic Control Work tickets.
Possession of a current Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence, Forklift licence, and/or relevant traffic control tickets would be highly regarded but is not essential.
