About the Role
As a Sales Specialist, you'll represent a leading brand in the Automotive Oil & Lubrication category across retail environments. Working closely with store managers, staff, franchisees, and internal stakeholders, you'll strengthen product confidence, drive sell-out, and ensure the brand stands out in-store.
You'll be the trusted lubrication advisor, the brand advocate, and the eyes and ears on the ground.
Build Strong Store Relationships
* Develop trusted relationships with store managers and retail teams
* Act as the first point of contact for product and category support
* Confidently handle product and customer enquiries
Coach, Train & Influence
* Deliver short, impactful in-store coaching sessions
* Upskill staff on key products, benefits, and priorities
* Drive confident staff recommendations at point-of-sale
In-Store Execution & Compliance
* Complete merchandising, planogram, and promotional checks
* Identify and escalate pricing, ticketing, and POS gaps
* Monitor availability and escalate out-of-stocks
Sales Support & Performance
* Execute structured store visits aligned to account priorities
* Support sales growth through visibility, education, and advocacy
* Identify opportunities to elevate brand presence and execution standards
Reporting & Insights
* Submit accurate and timely visit reporting
* Share actionable insights with internal teams and Key Account Managers
* Track performance against KPIs and store objectives
About You
* Strong understanding or working knowledge of automotive lubricants
* Confident, engaging, and comfortable influencing in-store
* Strong retail, sales, or merchandising experience
* Enjoy coaching others and building genuine relationships
* Organised, reliable, and great at managing your time in the field
* Passionate about delivering great brand experiences
* Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
