About Us 
Hahndorf Brezelhaus is an exciting new café and bakery opening in the heart of the Adelaide Hills this October. 
Just 25 minutes from Adelaide and operated by experienced locals who already run two successful venues in Hahndorf. 
Our focus is on handcrafted food including but not limited to freshly baked German pretzels, traditional breads, pastries, artisan pies, as well as a seasonal plated breakfast and small selection of lunch offerings. 
Everything is made in-house, with a passion for quality and creativity at the forefront. 
About the Roles 
We're building a talented kitchen team and are looking for Cooks, Bakers and Pastry Chefs who are passionate about their craft. 
With multiple full-time, part-time and casual positions available, you'll have the opportunity to: 
Take charge of baked goods, pastries, and breads 
Contribute to the plated hot breakfast and lunch offering 
Exercise your creativity and bring new ideas to our menu 
Help set the tone for quality and consistency from the very beginning 
Apply even if you don't have formal qualifications - passion for baking and food is just as important 
You'll be working in a collaborative environment, with plenty of scope to shape what Brezelhaus becomes known for. 
What We're Looking For 
Strong professional baking, pastry or cookery experience (German baking knowledge highly regarded) 
Expertise in doughs, breads, pastries, and baking 
Ability to prepare and cook plated breakfast and lunch offerings 
Creativity in developing both baked goods and plated dishes 
Attention to detail and consistency under pressure 
Confidence to work independently as well as within a small team 
Flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays 
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene 
Passion for baking and food
