The opportunity
Have you previously worked in the geology, drilling or resources industry and are now looking for improved work life balance without stepping away from the field entirely? Are you a relationship-builder with a passion for innovation and practical problem‐solving? IMDEX is seeking a Technical Service Representative (TSR) to support and grow our presence in the Goldfields region. This position is based in our Kalgoorlie office and requires some travel to site. To support you in the role, IMDEX provides a secure office in West Kal, an excellent work environment, company vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone.
As the face of IMDEX to our clients, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering technical value, strengthening long‐term relationships, and supporting the successful adoption of IMDEX's industry‐leading solutions across exploration and drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and support IMDEX's products and solutions with existing and prospective customers
* Implement client engagement plans to support new product launches and targeted sales campaigns
* Act as the primary technical contact for client inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions
* Work closely with clients to develop tailored solutions aligned with their operational and technical objectives
* Deliver on‐site technical training to drilling contractors and geologists, ensuring correct use, understanding, and adoption of IMDEX technologies
* Build strong, trusted relationships with drilling contractors, geologists, and site teams
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who thrives on building relationships and delivering results, supported by strong technical credibility and hands‐on field experience. You will bring proven account management capability, underpinned by practical experience within the resources, exploration, drilling, or mining industries.
Full training on IMDEX products will be provided.
You will bring one of the following:
* A minimum of 2 years' hands‐on drilling experience
* 2+ years' experience with downhole survey tools and survey workflows
* 2+ years' experience working as a Structural Geologist, with a solid understanding of geological interpretation and structural data
As well as:
* Proven ability to build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
* Willingness to travel to remote mine sites (typically a minimum of one week per month)
* Confidence using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); experience with Pronto is advantageous
* Strong planning, analytical, and decision‐making skills
