About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and proactive Business Analyst to join our vibrant Digital & Technology Solutions team.
In this dynamic role, you'll work side-side with clients and stakeholders to uncover business needs, shape innovative solutions, and help drive positive change across the University.
This is a 7-month full-time opportunity, commencing January ****, focused on delivering an integrated solution for the Global Admissions StudyLink Project.
Compensation
Salary range $106,094 – $113,913 (G07) plus 17% superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with business owners and stakeholders to truly understand their challenges and aspirations.
Gather, analyse, and document requirements, and bring people together to design and configure creative technical solutions.
Map and document business processes, ensuring every detail is captured for current and future success.
Conduct unit testing and support the roll-out of new solutions and processes, supporting users every step of the way.
Apply technical configuration skills to exploit toolsets in enterprise applications to provide solutions that meet stakeholder requirements within vendor software constraints.
Provide friendly, expert support to users of the solutions being implemented, and deliver engaging training on changes as required.
Selection Criteria
Has a degree and solid experience in business analysis, or equivalent skills and training.
Passionate about reviewing and improving business processes and enjoys working closely with stakeholders to find the best way forward.
Brings sharp analytical and problem-solving skills and can confidently map and redesign business solutions.
Is highly organised, with project management know-how and a knack for using structured methodologies and tools.
Communicates effectively, both in writing and in person, and builds strong relationships with people from all walks of life.
Works well independently and as part of a team, always striving for the best outcomes.
Bonus Points
Experience configuring business information systems.
Worked in a tertiary education environment.
Used Technology One product toolsets.
Role Requirements
As this is a fixed term role, applicants must obtain current Australian working rights that match the tenure of the role.
Applicants must be willing to undertake a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction.
Applicants must be able to work on-site at Curtin's Bentley campus, hybrid WFH working arrangements.
