We are looking for QA Engineers who want to join and grow a high-performing team which aims to help create a world-class engineering capability.
The technologies used will be wide-ranging and varied. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about learning new technologies and working across different sectors.
In this role, we will be bringing together the traditional responsibilities across Quality Engineering, DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain native test automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain.
* Set up automated tests to run in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring that tests are triggered and results are available at each stage of the build process.
* Analyse existing complex end-to-end tests, identifying opportunities to break down and streamline these tests for more efficient execution and better coverage.
* Work closely with Android and iOS development teams to ensure test coverage aligns with development efforts, and assist in diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.
* Define and promote best practices for mobile test automation, providing guidance on tool selection, framework architecture, and testing methodologies.
Essential Skills:
* Experience in mobile test automation for native Android and iOS apps, with a solid understanding of mobile testing frameworks such as Espresso (Android), and XCTest (iOS).
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, with hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
* Strong programming skills, preferably in languages like Java, Kotlin (Android), Swift (iOS).
Bonus Points:
* Experience with additional mobile testing tools, such as Detox for React Native or other cross-platform testing frameworks.
* Familiarity with performance testing and monitoring for mobile applications.
* Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
