About The Opportunity
Programmed Electrical Technologies currently has a great opportunity due to an expanding workload for an Electrician to join our team in Beard. Working on predominantly government and Defence sites, you will be responsible for general electrical services across the projects including fit-out installation work, fault finding, switchboard servicing, light installation and upgrades. Due to the nature of the projects, having communications endorsements and experience would also be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
* Installation, termination, commissioning and fit-off of electrical infrastructure and apparatus.
* Communications cabling and rack installations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
* Perform routine planned and reactive maintenance.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their electrical and communication cabling needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Maintain site and maintenance documentation.
About You
To join our team, you will be a qualified electrician with sound knowledge of electrical and communications standards within a commercial environment, a passion for providing quality work, and a strong commitment to your own safety and that of others. Additionally, you will have;
* Telecommunications license with structured cable endorsements is desirable
* Experience in commercial construction and service
* NV1 or NV2 clearance is desirable, suitability and willingness to obtain a clearance is required
* Current driver's license
* Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
* Execute work that is of a high standard
* A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
