Your New Role
This position plays a key role in advancing clinical leadership and expert child and youth mental health care across the CYMHS Acute Response and Paediatric Consultation Liaison Teams. You will contribute to high-quality, person-centred services through advanced practice, collaboration, and clinical governance.
Provide expert clinical assessment, consultation, and leadership across acute and hospital settings to support infants, children, young people, and their families.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality, evidence-based practice, service improvement and clinical governance.
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff through education, clinical guidance, and professional development activities.
Contribute to service innovation through quality improvement, research application, and the development of clinical protocols and standards.
About You
Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and competency in mental health nursing, particularly supporting children, young people and families.
Skilled communicator with the ability to collaborate, influence and work effectively within multidisciplinary environments.
Proven ability to lead initiatives in clinical education, service quality, innovation, and evidence-based practice.
Committed to professional excellence, reflective practice, and strengthening a positive culture of safety, learning and continuous improvement.
