Opportunity
With the Australian ornamental market flourishing, there is now the creation of a new role – Regional Sales Manager – Ornamental Horticulture to join the closely knit team. Reporting to the Ornamental Horticulture Lead, AU and NZ, it covers the growing regions of predominantly Sunshine Coast in QLD and Northern Rivers in NSW.
You will be driving business growth in the sector which includes working closely with distributors, managing and educating them on products and the market, along with training of staff. This involves implementation of in field product trials with end users to showcase product attributes and best solutions.
This role is practical out in the field with travel within the territory.

Qualifications
5 years nursery experience at a managerial level
Understanding of the ornamental sector
Sales experience with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Qualification/certificate in agricultural/horticultural science
Experience in setting up and reporting on scientific trials
You will understand evidence-based science, nutritional agronomy and have a teaching mentality.
Location
The role is home based with flexibility on location as long as within the territory.
