What the Role Is:
You’ll join our friendly admin team at our Queanbeyan office, working closely with our clinicians and practice manager to make sure everything runs smoothly for our patients.
You’ll be trained in all areas of medical administration, from scheduling and invoicing to patient communication and telehealth coordination.
This is a full-time role best suited to someone who can commit to consistent hours. Applicants with study commitments may be considered where they can demonstrate reliable availability and capacity to meet the demands of the role.
We’ll teach you everything you need to know, all we ask for is a great attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Answering telephone / email queries from patients, referrers and clinicians.
* Scheduling appointments, intake and coordinating telehealth sessions.
* Patient invoicing, receipts and processing payments / Medicare rebate follow-up.
* Maintaining electronic medical records (using our platform, e.g., Halaxy) and ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy/health regulations.
* General admin tasks: managing referrals, preparing clinician letters, liaising with clinicians and support staff, assisting with basic office operations.
* Being part of the team, helping ensure our service is smooth, professional and compassionate.
You Are / You Bring:
You do not need prior medical administration experience. We are looking for the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

* If you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, or customer service - perfect. That experience translates well here.
* Looking to commit to at least 12 months in a full-time role
Nice to Have (but not required):
* Some admin or customer-service experience (even in retail/hospitality) is a bonus but not essential
* Interest in healthcare or telehealth environment is desirable
* Passionate about mental health and helping people access care
* Basic familiarity with electronic systems (e.g. MS Office / Google Workspace
