The role is pencilled in to begin in February but could start earlier if required.
Role Description
We're hiring a Junior SEO Specialist to join our Search team. It's an entry-level role suited to someone with a working knowledge of SEO and marketing concepts, plus a strong appetite to learn.
You'll work across technical, content, and local SEO, with light use of AI tooling to speed up research and analysis while applying human judgement.
About you
You do not need years of experience, but you should bring some foundations and a strong drive to develop them.
Skills and experience
* Some exposure to SEO fundamentals, and familiarity with common CMS or eCommerce platforms (such as Shopify)
* Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic analytics, and keen to improve these skills
* Clear written communicator who can turn data and findings into practical, plain English insights
* Organised, detail driven, and consistent with deadlines and follow through
Mindset and working style
* Curious about how AI is changing search and confident prompting tools while fact checking outputs
* Enjoys collaborating, asking questions, and contributing ideas
* Comfortable in a hybrid environment and team culture where some days are quiet focus and others are more collaborative
* Open to feedback and keen to keep improving
None of these are mandatory
* Hands on time with GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, or paid media platforms
* Basic HTML or CSS or CMS experience
* Content or copywriting experience (blogs, landing pages, email, and similar)
* Familiarity with AI assistants for research or QA, and awareness of AI Overviews or answer engines
