What the role involves:
- Providing field-based assessment and investigation of residential insurance losses
- Having full support from the Manager and senior team members, attending site meetings together
- Receiving training in report writing following site visits, assessing damage, and causation
- Liaising with policyholders regarding their claims.
Examining claims forms, policies, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage.
- Investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence.
- Set loss reserves and control claims costs
What experience you will bring:
- Strong technical commercial property skills to assess the cause and repair of damage
- Ability to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses
- Experience in building robust relationships with all stakeholders
- A solid understanding of managing property claims
