Role Responsibilities
Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to infants and children, and parents, carers, and families in a primary health care model to assist families to transition to parenthood, build on strengths and ameliorate identified risks that may contribute to the development of problems in infants and later on in life.

Qualifications
* Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health, or willingness to commence such qualifications within 6 months of employment
* Demonstrated ability to work closely with families utilising evidence‐based models of care and approaches that are supportive and inclusive with an early intervention focus
* Experience in planning, coordinating and evaluating education programmes
* Current immunisation accreditation or commitment to obtain within 12 months of commencement
* Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancing skills, with willingness to share expertise with colleagues
* Intermediate computer skills, effective interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team and capacity to resolve conflicts professionally and personally when they arise
* Current unrestricted NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel to communities in rural and remote locations
