The Role
An opportunity exists for experienced Maintenance Electricians, who are self-motivated and committed to developing a culture motivated by safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work safely and effectively as part of a diverse team, to optimise equipment availability and reliability, ensuring fleet performance and other targets are achieved across the business.
Following maintenance and service plans within the Weekly Maintenance Plan Process focused on auto-electrical and high voltage systems and installations on mobile and fixed equipment.
Clearly understanding fleet targets for the Department and be actively involved in identifying and eliminating inefficiencies within the electrical domain.
Using your skills as a tradesperson effectively, so that budgeted fleet performance is achieved.
For interested and suitable candidates, be deployed into the Operation Technology (OT) team, focusing on supporting mine networking, OT systems such as fleet, fatigue management, machine health and tyre management systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
A relevant trade qualification.
Experience in maintaining and servicing excavators, drills, mobile earthmoving equipment and fixed plant.
Commitment to embracing new skills, opportunities and responsibilities.
The ideal applicant has the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually, thinking pragmatically to solve problems and the tenacity to work until a solution is found.
Experience with hydraulic excavator and shovels, CAT truck and ancillary equipment along with PLC and control equipment, working in confined space and at heights, with the ability to undertake HV switching would be beneficial.
