Shifts Available: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm with some rotating weekends.
Pay Range: $32 per hour - $35 per hour.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about recovery and giving back to the local community by supporting those in treatment at Burkwood Treatment Center.

Responsibilities
REGISTERED NURSE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, providing and coordinating care accordingly.
* Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients and their families about various health conditions.
* Deliver nursing care within established standards, scope of practice, and facility policies.
* Ensure physicians' orders are accurately documented and transcribed as needed.
* Ongoing assessment of patient status, gathering pertinent information and documentation.
* Notify physicians of significant changes in patient status or response to medications.
* Nursing treatment plans must be completed upon admission and reflect assessed needs.
* Apply universal precautions when providing direct patient care.
* Accurate administration of medications according to ordered notes.
* Accurate documentation of controlled substance medication administration.
* Efficient completion of admission and discharge processing as directed.
* Maintain professional boundaries, respect personal space, and exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients.
* Provide direction or coordinate unit activities as needed.
* Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION, LICENSURE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
* Degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
* Currenct Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or eligibility to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements.
* One year of nursing experience; previous experience in psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance use nursing preferred.
* CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required; training available upon hire.
* First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
