About the opportunity
We are seeking expressions of interest from Cardiac Sonographers passionate about delivering high-quality echocardiography services to rural and regional communities across Victoria.
These roles focus on providing best-practice, patient-centred cardiac ultrasound services in satellite and community settings, supported by a highly experienced cardiology network. Whether you're looking to complement existing work, reduce metro travel, or contribute meaningfully to regional healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms in line with established protocols
Deliver accurate, complete studies for cardiologist review
Provide compassionate, professional care to patients in community settings
Liaise with cardiologists and referrers regarding clinical findings when required
Maintain equipment, quality standards, and safe work practices
Contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused regional service model
What we're looking for
Strong technical capability across routine echocardiography
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously in satellite environments
Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally
Commitment to high-quality, empathetic patient care
Make a real impact in underserved regional communities with limited access to healthcare services.
Flexible working patterns (fortnightly and sessional options)
