THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to lead front-end design for multi-residential and large-scale projects at an internationally renowned design studio. The team is seeking a highly experienced Architect with a strong focus on early-stage design and concept development for large-scale and multi-residential projects. The ideal candidate will be a front-end driven designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, has no ego, and is a strong communicator. This role is suited for someone with significant experience in front-end design, ideally within a well-known studio. An interest in business development would be highly desirable.
$140,000 - $160,000 + super (open to discussion)
TYPICAL DAY
* Lead the development of front-end design for multi-residential and large-scale projects, from initial concepts to early design stages
* Collaborate closely with the leadership team to shape design direction and ensure project success
* When not focused on front-end design, assist with design development across a range of projects and sectors
* Work closely with Directors and Senior members to drive the creative vision and contribute to the ongoing development of key projects
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members, fostering a collaborative and ego-free environment
* Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships
* Manage approximately 10+ people in your team

REQUIREMENTS
* Tertiary qualifications in Architecture (ESSENTIAL)
* Minimum 10+ year industry experience (ESSENTIAL)
* Proven large scale project design experience (ESSENTIAL)
* NSW Registered Architect (PREFERRED)
* A beautiful design portfolio (ESSENTIAL)
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (ESSENTIAL)
