This role is focused on providing dedicated support to individuals in need.
* Using Trauma-Informed Care practices to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
* Offering assertive crisis intervention and service coordination, including responding to those with complex goals.
* Providing short-term case management (up to six weeks) for participants in crisis.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum diploma or degree qualifications relevant to the delivery of community services.
* Experience working in homelessness, mental health, and/or community settings.
* Excellent communication skills who collaborates well as part of a team.
* Commitment to working within a person-centered, strength-based, and culturally responsive practice.
* Ability to demonstrate de-escalation and effective response tactics towards challenging behavior and crisis situations.
