Human Resource Officer
This role involves providing human resource workforce support, advice and assistance to managers and employees in relation to general employment conditions. The successful candidate will provide the point of contact to managers regarding Health Support Services (HSS) processes and functions including pay, employment service issues, position classifications and staff recruitment, selection and appointment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide human resource workforce support, advice and assistance to managers and employees in relation to general employment conditions;
* Be the point of contact to managers regarding Health Support Services (HSS) processes and functions including pay, employment service issues, position classifications and staff recruitment, selection and appointment;
* Undertake projects and research as required;
* Work closely with WACHS' industrial relations practitioners including through responsibilities which currently include undertaking Job Security Reviews and overseeing related processes as well as other industrial relations special projects for the health service.

The following selection criteria are essential requirements for this role:
* A valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments);
* Relevant qualifications and experience in Human Resources;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
