It's known for its commitment to excellence and its focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for the community with their core values front of mind.Job DescriptionPrepare monthly management accounts and board reports, including commentaries, forecasts, and variance analysis.Coordinate month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.Maintain and update the asset register, and perform principals reconciliation.Support budgeting activities and manage the 10-year financial model, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.Review and approve capital project expenditures and prepayment purchase orders, ensuring budget controls are maintained.Assist with internal audits, financial administration, and compliance reporting such as ABS surveys.Provide backup support for accounts receivable and perform other duties as requested by management or the School.The Successful ApplicantA Successful Management Accountant Should HaveCPA or CA Qualified.Strong numeracy, analytical thinking, and sound understanding of accounting principles.Proven ability to interpret legislation and apply it effectively in financial contexts.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach.Highly adaptable to change, with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.Skilled in managing competing priorities and planning workload efficiently.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.What's on OfferSalary available is $105,000 to $110,000 per annum + superGenerous holiday leave entitlements to support work-life balance.Opportunities for professional development within the not-for-profit industry.A collaborative and supportive work environmentBe part of a mission-driven organisation making a difference in the community.If you're ready to take the next step in your accounting and finance career, apply now to join this impactful organisation!
