The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic Assistant Store Manager to join us at our Rockhampton store! The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Leadership team to maintain the success of City Beach as one of Australia’s leading fashion retailers, by ensuring outstanding customer service and people experiences.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Manage, lead, and optimize all aspects of store operations.
2. Prioritize a customer and employee first mindset; we are all about our people.
3. Collaborate with the Store Manager and Head Office teams to monitor KPIs, ensuring your team delivers results and performance objectives to Company Standards.
4. Assist the Store Manager in building rosters and managing wages.
5. Work with volume, high foot traffic, and large stock quantities to minimize shrinkage and promote sales growth, while maintaining visual merchandising and presentation standards.

* Previous retail leadership/management experience.
* Experience in rostering and wage control.
* Ability to effectively lead and develop a team.
* Conflict resolution skills.
* Experience with stocktakes.
* Understanding of visual merchandising techniques.
