What you'll do
* Lead and contribute to tailings management projects from concept to closure, with a focus on safety and sustainability.
* Provide expert advice in tailings engineering, geotechnical analysis and associated disciplines.
* Support compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards and industry best practice.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies tailored to each project.
* Build strong relationships with clients, delivering solutions aligned to their needs.
* Manage project deliverables, including budgeting, scheduling and resource coordination.
What you'll bring
* Relevant engineering qualifications (Civil / Geotechnical).
* Experience and desire to be involved with the design aspects as well as site‐based consultancy activities, specifically around Tailings Engineering. We are looking for 'specialist' Tailings Engineers responsible for Tailings design / engineering on a daily basis.
* Familiarity with GISTM, CDA, and ANCOLD guidelines.
* Experience managing financial and technical aspects of project delivery.
* Strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.
* A proactive approach to problem‐solving and client engagement.
