Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer who has experience developing interfaces to integrations to join our Tandem Connect team at Autodesk.
Working with the Tandem team, our mission is to create integration technology and solutions that will transform how buildings are designed, built, and operated.

Responsibilities
Ensure technology and personal compliance with company Trust Commitments
Ensure that all business activities are conducted in line with company values and policies.
With support from Architects and Solutions Engineers, contribute to the design and development of "plugins" for the platform that are used for integrating with external systems.
Involved with all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure and performant service for customers.
Contribute to initiatives for improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needs.
Identify common approaches and patterns for consolidation to promote reuse and best practices.
Maintenance of the CI/CD process for build, test and publish of "plugins".
Maintenance of technical debt, vulnerabilities and other cybersecurity and trust improvements in the "plugins" and related software.
Ensure software development lifecycle processes are followed.
Support internal and external customers in relation to the components developed.
Contribute towards the evolution of the Plugin Development Kit.
Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to leadership, team members and other stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
BS or MS in computer science, related technology field, or equivalent experience
You have 5 years of hands-on experience with development and maintenance of applications and unit tests to a high quality
Unit testing, end-to-end testing, and test-driven development experience
Experience with JavaScript in Node.js and Groovy
In-depth understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps
Experience using REST APIs and other integration capabilities, such as GraphQL and MQTT
Experience with Git or equivalent version control system
Experience developing and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins
Experience using AI-supported development tools
Detail-oriented approach to building secure, stable software
Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban
Experience developing in containerised environments (such as Docker)
Experience with tools such as Postman, IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
Experience with integration-Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) offerings and common integration patterns
Experience using Linux and an understanding of networking concepts
Experience working in large corporate environments as well as in smaller startups (Incubation team)
Strong written and oral communication skills in English
Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment
Experience developing integrations with
Autodesk products such as Tandem, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Fusion Manage
IBM Maximo and other Enterprise Asset Management systems
Systems for the Built environment – such as Modbus, BACNet, OPC-UA
