Seafood Traders Pty Ltd is a leading live abalone exporter. Located close to Hobart airport we have been exporting premium wild abalone worldwide for thirty years. The company is looking to appoint a motivated, physically fit, self-starter to our team. Our staff is a small, close knit, dedicated group with all members possessing the capacity to participate in every aspect of the operational side of the business. The job can be physically demanding and at times hectic, especially during peak export season. As a consequence, the successful applicant can expect some irregular hours. The position includes but is not limited to,
* Transport of live product statewide to our facility at Cambridge.
* Ultimate responsibility for in house equipment and data collection.
* Processing and packing product for export.
* Stock monitoring and QA procedures
The successful candidate requires the following,
* A clean driving record with a manual license (preferable)
* Excellent fitness and upper body strength (lifting and bending is required).
* Capacity to work irregular hours and some weekends.
* An eye for detail with a knowledge of mechanics and how things operate; and
* Must be a self-starter and be able to work autonomously.
