We are seeking a Senior Advisor to lead our safety, health, environment and quality initiatives.

About the Role
The Senior Advisor will be responsible for driving safe and compliant delivery of projects and operations, as well as planning, coordinating and managing all SHEQ activities. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring that SHEQ team activities, goals, objectives, targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are aligned with company and group SHEQ vision, goals and objectives.
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive SHEQ strategy to improve SHEQ performance.
* Working closely with operational management to ensure effective execution of the SHEQ strategy, policies and procedures.
* Communicating the SHEQ strategy in a timely, effective and consistent manner.
* Overseeing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on company SHEQ performance against both company and group objectives and targets.
* Developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing a suitable integrated SHEQ management system to achieve SHEQ performance standards.
* Contributing to, developing and implementing SHEQ projects, programmes and processes aligned with company and group SHEQ strategic direction.
* Accountable for recording, managing and actioning hazard reports, incidents, inspections, task observations, audits and other SHEQ related matters.
Key requirements for this role include:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (diploma or higher preferred).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar industry as a Senior SHEQ Advisor.
* ICAM Lead Investigator qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing SHEQ strategies.
* Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives.
* Demonstrated strong safety record and knowledge of SHEQ principles.
* Current National Police Clearance.
