Production Operative Job Description
As a Production Operative, you will be an integral part of our production team. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in condiment bottling by handling bottles, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean work area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load empty bottles into filling machines ensuring they are securely placed to prevent damage or contamination.
* Monitor the filling process to guarantee proper filling and adjust as necessary.
* Efficiently place bottles onto conveyor belts for labelling and packaging to meet production targets.
* Organise bottles on conveyors to maintain optimal production flow.
* Inspect bottles for defects or leaks to prevent product waste and maintain quality standards.
* Adhere to strict safety and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised workspace.
About You:
* Prior experience in production environments is highly valued.
* Able to demonstrate knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles.
* Familiarity with WHS guidelines and ability to maintain safe practices.
* Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
* Reliable, punctual, and strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* Availability to work 5 days per week.
