What we offer includes the chance to join our Infrastructure Services Team as a Site Engineer based in Thornton. This role reports to the Project Manager and involves working as part of a multidisciplinary project team to achieve safety, time, cost and quality targets.
Responsibilities
* Deliver projects in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies/procedures.
* Daily interface with client including attending and contributing to meetings.
* Cost control, monitoring productivities and forecasting costs to complete.
* Assist with financials including monthly reviews, progress claims, cost valuations, budgets and forecasting.
* Ensure quality procedures are followed and support team members to follow processes.
* Develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
How you'll connect to the role
To be successful in this role you will have a Civil Engineering degree with experience in a similar role working on civil infrastructure projects. You will have the ability to communicate across all levels of the business and have excellent stakeholder management skills. You will also have basic knowledge and experience with financials, forecasting, procurement and contracts administration functions; we will support you to gain more experience in this area. Most importantly you will have a practical, hands-on approach and a commitment to living safely. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive your career further, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. This opportunity will require you to travel and work away from home across regional NSW when required and dependent on project needs.
