About the Role
The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for establishing, developing, and executing CHG-Services within the APAC region, with a primary focus on IT Asset Management. This includes overseeing the full asset life‑cycle : staging, imaging, deployment, in‑life management, collection, data sanitisation, and refurbishment. The role is pivotal in driving service strategy, supporting sales during presales, expanding service offerings, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
The manager will collaborate closely with Account Managers and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused services that drive satisfaction and loyalty. A key aspect of the role is championing CHG's commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
Role Objectives & Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Strategy
Oversee the delivery of IT Asset Management Services across the APAC region.
Develop and implement a regional service strategy.
Ensure process‑oriented thinking and high service competence.
Support sales in solution selling for large complex IT asset management projects.
Serve as project manager for specific service deliveries and tender bids.
Classify and manage the target customer pipeline with a services focus.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Support the setup of sales channel partnerships through service value add positioning.
Cross‑sell and up‑sell solutions and services in consultation with the sales team.
Service Development & Best Practices
Identify and develop new service products with CHG's global service community.
Share best practices and knowledge within the APAC region.
Support local marketing activities related to services.
Contract & Bid Management
Responsible for all service contracts (with support from local legal).
Calculate and submit offers together with Account Managers.
Design and describe services as part of proposals and contracts.
Education & Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications (degree or TAFE) are preferred.
Experience & Knowledge
Min. 5 years' experience in IT Asset Life‑cycle Management (ITAM) or IT Services.
Proven track record in service delivery and project management within ITAM.
Experience collaborating closely with sales and operations teams.
Understanding of ServiceNow and other large SaaS platforms, with particular emphasis on their capabilities and the use of RESTful APIs for integration, is highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to engage directly with customers and manage service partners.
Strong people management skills and cultural awareness.
Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in preparing scope of work documentation and managing bids.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
