About the client

Providing a wide range of products to handle all types of water-based issues, they can provide a solution whether it's an unexpected flood or a controlled mine site excavation.
About the role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to identify and secure new mining sector business in Western Australia. Conducting site visits and technical assessments, you will deliver tailored, competitive dewatering solutions to prospective clients. You will also:
* Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by understanding their operational needs
* Prepare and present proposals and quotations that effectively communicate product value and solution fit
* Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to order having a consultative sales approach
* Be a key driver of revenue growth, achieving/exceeding sales targets and identifying follow-on sales opportunities
* Collaborate across engineering, operations, and aftermarket teams to scope and deliver end-to-end pump packages
* Provide post-sales technical support, assisting in trouble shooting, ensuring customer satisfaction
About you
With proven success in technical sales or business development, you will also have strong knowledge of hydraulics, fluid dynamics, and mining operations to deliver tailored, competitive dewatering solutions. We also require:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field) OR relevant trade qualifications with demonstrated field expertise
* Proven success in technical sales with pump systems in mining or industrial sectors
* Proactive and results-driven with strong negotiation skills
* Technical aptitude with commercial mindset
* Strong and adaptable communicator
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
* Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
