We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in automotive repair and maintenance, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. As an Auto Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of automotive technician experience.
The role involves you being a leader in driving high quality vehicle servicing and maintenance including but not limited to
* Accurately identifying and reporting on service & major repairs
* Carry out minor and major services to manufacturer specifications.
* Trouble shoot and conduct Diagnostics across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
* Perform road testing and conduct quality control check assessments
* Maintain a safe working environment ensuring the correct operation of tools and specialised equipment
* Contribute to the positive team culture and overall customer experience.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Diagnostics and problem-solving
* Carrying out minor and major repairs and maintenance
* Conducting logbook services and warranty repairs
* Tyre replacement.
* Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
The successful applicant will possess:
* Trade Qualification Automotive Mechanic/Technician
* 1st class diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Clear communicator with good organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
* The ability to read and understand complex wiring diagrams
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
* A current driver's license (manual transmission)
* Australian citizenship is required for this position
