Substance Abuse Support Worker
This role involves providing support to individuals who are struggling with substance abuse. The Substance Abuse Support Worker will assess clients, manage risk, and deliver treatment that is tailored to their specific needs.
* The worker will also provide case management for people with complex needs using a harm minimisation framework.
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work autonomously and under direction. You should also be able to foster relationships with agencies and attend meetings, forums, and education programs in order to integrate best practices into your work.
