**About the role**
We are excited to announce the newly created role of Contract Manager at Life Without Barriers. The purpose of the role will be to report on contractual performance and financial tracking to ensure we are meeting our service agreement obligations for our Residential and Family Base Care, Out of Home Care Services.
The role will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on performance against contract requirement, providing funding updates to the senior leadership team and interpreting contract provisions, to ensure we are compliant and up to date with any policy or procedure changes in the funding models. The incumbent is also responsible for providing internal support to teams to understand contractual requirements and opportunities and assisting to address more complex funding issues. This role will work closely with our senior leadership team and will be a main point of contact for our funding provider.
This position is being offered as **permanent, full-time **position based in Leederville, with access to salary packaging and a hybrid work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with other State Managers and Regional Directors to improve processes and overcome obstacles
- Monitor, report upon and champion performance against contracted requirements.
- Maintain regular contact with and develop positive relationships with key stakeholders (internal/external)
- Interpret contract provisions and provide advice to operational managers, directors and other state and national teams staff on contractual issues to ensure compliance with contract. Together with Regional Directors, monitor and maintain systems and procedures within state to monitor compliance with contract provisions.
- Support the Director, Child Youth and Family with contract negotiations between Life Without Barriers and funding providers as required.
- Support senior leadership to identify and manage contract related risks.
- Provide accurate data and regular reporting on key performance indicators, including permanency outcomes.
**Skills & Experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in human services, and/or relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex contract and reporting environment
- Demonstrated experience interpreting contact provisions and providing advice to operational areas
- Demonstrated experience in preparing business correspondence and report writing in line with government frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to undertake analysis of data, draw conclusions and implement systems improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to hold contract negotiations while maintaining a positive relationship with stakeholders
- Proven experience in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders from government agencies, accrediting bodies and NGOs
