We are passionate about delivering high-quality radiation oncology nursing services and invite motivated registered nurses to join our team in Albury on a casual basis.
You will be part of a dedicated team contributing to exceptional patient experiences alongside a multidisciplinary team. Key Requirements include Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, minimum 2 years postgraduate experience, background in oncology nursing is advantageous but not essential, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for patients and carers.

* Background in oncology nursing is advantageous but not essential; training in radiation oncology nursing will be provided
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for patients and carers
* Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to best practice principles, quality improvement, and professional development
* Experience in wound care management is preferred
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, addressing physical and psychological needs, performing direct patient care activities such as education, wound management, and medication administration, managing daily patient caseloads effectively, facilitating communication with doctors, patient services, physicists, and radiation therapists, documenting all patient interactions accurately, maintaining procedures, protocols, and clinical guidelines in line with radiation oncology standards, adhering to medication management protocols, using ISBAR for handovers and communication with allied health professionals, and demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and motivation.
