Job Title: Strategic Procurement Manager
Job Description:
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage procurement lifecycle governance, compliance, and system activity monitoring for an organisation.
As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and maximise sourcing and supplier engagement activity through the eProcurement platform.
You will also oversee the procurement team's performance, providing clear direction and coaching to direct reports, and contribute to procurement and contract management initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 6 years' experience in a similar role within industry or state government
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with other functions, suppliers, and individuals
* Analytical and results-oriented approach to improving procurement performance
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong focus on education and continuous improvement
* Advanced EProcurement tools skills and demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement practices (source to pay)
Benefits:
The successful candidate will enjoy a remuneration package of over $170,000 including superannuation. The role is available only to Australian-based applicants with the right to work full-time without restriction.
