This role will be working across admissions team at Mater Private Hospital, supporting different areas such as Endoscopy and Welcome Lounge/Front Reception, role is permanent part time 22 hours per week with the successful candidates needing to be available to work 24/7 roster including Public Holidays.This position is for a Senior Administration Officer and your role will involve but not limited to:Providing Exceptional Customer Service to patient and clientsProcessing patient admissions, transfers and discharges and the preparation of clinical formsProviding administrative support to clinical staffMaintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and financial policy and procedures, maintaining accurate, current, and accessible files, including maintenance of records of relevant meetings and discussionsContinually demonstrate highly developed written communication skills including ability to draft routine correspondence on behalf of the senior managementProvide administrative assistance to other senior staff and others as requestedExercise judgement where necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not definedAbout youTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Highly experienced in providing medical administration supportHighly developed time management and organisational skillsStrong computer skills including competence in using Patient Administration systems (or the ability to quickly learn new systems)Knowledge of Health FundsExcellent customer service and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding environmentMater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider, delivering exceptional care to nearly 700,000 patients each year across 11 (soon to be 12) hospitals.
