We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist / Psychologist to join our growing and highly professional, multi-disciplinary team in our private practice "Managing Pain" based in Robina on the Gold Coast.
Pain psychology allows you to work at the intersection of neuroscience, behaviour, and medical care.

We currently offer individual consultations to a range of patients with persistent/chronic pain (including privately insured, DVA, workers compensation and motor vehicle accident insurance), both face-to-face and telehealth.
As a successful applicant, you will have:
knowledge and experience in psychological approaches to the management of chronic pain through a range of evidence-based therapies
an ability to undertake functional psychological assessments of clients with chronic pain and to develop negotiated multi-disciplinary intervention plans with the client and relevant service providers
a post-graduate degree in Psychology (Masters, D.Psych or PhD)
eligibility for registration with AHPRA and the ability to register with Medicare
your own ABN and Professional Indemnity Insurance

Working closely with our medical specialists and allied health, rather than being siloed.
Contribute meaningfully to shared care plans where your input is respected as essential, not optional.
Have structured case discussions, team meetings, and alignment around functional goals.

Our practice continues to evolve, and there may be future opportunities to be involved in initiatives including the delivery of an outpatient Multidisciplinary Pain Management Program; and the evidence-based use of Virtual Reality as a therapeutic tool.
Mentorship with our experienced PsyBA approved supervisor will also be available.
All practitioners are engaged as individual contractors under a competitive Service Agreement which allows for the freedom to set their own consultation timeframe, timing and fee structure.
A highly competent and comprehensive administration is provided by the practice to arrange all appointments, approvals, billing etc.
