About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic
Junior Developer
to join our growing development team in Australia. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career developer who is eager to learn, build real-world software, and grow their technical skills in a supportive environment.
You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and product managers to develop, test, and maintain software applications while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications
* Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
* Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback
* Help troubleshoot, debug, and fix software issues
* Collaborate with team members in an Agile / Scrum environment
* Contribute to testing and quality assurance activities
* Learn and apply industry best practices and coding standards
Required Skills & Experience
* Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Basic understanding of at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
* Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Understanding of basic software development concepts (OOP, data structures, version control)
* Experience using Git or other version control systems
* Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
* Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable (Nice to Have)
* Internship, project, or placement experience
* Exposure to frameworks such as React, Angular, .NET, Spring, or similar
* Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
* Familiarity with REST APIs
* Experience with Agile development practices
