By volunteering as a Volunteer Visitor you will provide friendship and conversation to socially isolated elderly individuals in their own home to help connect, share and celebrate life experiences.
**Visits are relaxed, based on your availability and bring a new face to share conversation, news and outings.**
You will be non-judgmental, empathetic, kind and welcoming to people from all cultures and backgrounds and have the ability to be flexible.
**Time commitment is approx. 1 hour per fortnight**
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme is an Australian Government funded program established to promote links between people living in an aged care home or in their own home and the wider community.
