Senior Knowledge Lawyer Job Description
The Senior Knowledge Lawyer is responsible for providing professional support to the Banking & Financial Services practice. Key responsibilities include design and delivery of practice training sessions, facilitation of technical solutions, drafting and maintaining precedents, and championing style guide compliance.
* Assist with the design and delivery of practice training sessions
* Facilitate development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements
* Draft and maintain precedents
* Be a champion for style guide compliance
* Work cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms
* Conduct file audits in conjunction with the Risk team
* Write key matter summaries for business development
* Maintain awareness of legislative and case law changes and provide regular updates to the Banking & Finance practice group
* Prepare and deliver legal educational training
Key Responsibilities:
* Project manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Develop and implement knowledge management strategies
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize knowledge management initiatives
* Design and deliver training programs to improve knowledge sharing and precedent development
* Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in knowledge management processes
Requirements:
* At least four years of post-admission experience
* Current or recent banking or financial services drafting experience
* Excellent document drafting skills and high attention to detail
* Proven ability to project manage
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and follow up tasks autonomously
* Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
* Keen interest in knowledge sharing and precedent development and style compliance
* Eagerness to learn and test new solutions
