CMTL Group is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and commercially driven Business Development Specialists with a strong background in the civil, mining and infrastructure sectors .
This position is suited to someone who understands the demands of project-based industries and knows how to build strong client relationships, identify opportunities and convert them into long-term business outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding CMTL Group’s presence across labour hire, HSET, training, project support and associated services.
About the role
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships and supporting the growth of the business across civil and mining markets. You will engage with key stakeholders including project managers, procurement teams, operations managers and site leadership to position CMTL Group as a trusted provider.

Key responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across civil, mining and infrastructure sectors
* Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key decision-makers
* Promote CMTL Group’s services across labour hire, HSET, training, project support and hire solutions
* Attend client meetings, networking events, industry functions and site visits
* Prepare proposals, capability statements, service presentations and tender support documentation
* Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and upcoming project opportunities
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are aligned with service delivery
* Monitor market trends, contractor activity and upcoming projects to identify growth opportunities
* Maintain accurate records of business development activity, client interactions and outcomes
* Support the establishment of preferred supplier and long-term service agreements
