QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER – BDS MECHANICAL - GOLD COAST
BDS Mechanical has a full time position for a Quality Control Officer to join our team in Queensland. This position will be based at our BDS Gold Coast branch in Arundel to ensure processes are in place and procedures are being followed at our BDS QLD sites. This is a permanent position with multiple paths to progress in your career and a perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 160 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and Western Australia, meaning we're never too far away.
Experience, skills and qualifications:
* Previous experience in a quality control position or strong administration knowledge in the automotive industry
* Experience with job cards, parts, workshop procedures
* XERO experience a bonus but can be trained
* Employment Hero experience a bonus
* Experience with invoicing and analysing quotes
* Sound PC skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to priorities workloads and work well under pressure
* Able to speak up when issues arise
* Attention to detail
Your job duties include:
* Quality control of timesheets, job cards, quotes and making sure each of them are being captured correctly
* Ensure BDS processes are in place and procedures are being followed
* Approving invoices and quoting jobs
* Emailing and strong communication
* Data entry
* Timesheet approval and quality checks through Employment Hero
* Training new managers on the QC processes
* Reporting to upper management
