About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to prepare and serve meals for residents in our Western Australian facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and ensuring a positive dining experience while working closely with staff.
* Prior kitchen experience is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory.
This role offers flexible hours, with shifts on Mondays and Fridays. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of older individuals.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and recipes.
Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, including serving meals and assisting with special requests.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and facilities staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior kitchen experience is essential.
* Able to lift up to 25kg and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
