Senior Legal Advisor
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to provide high-level legal advice and support to our management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general commercial law, privacy, competition, and consumer law.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home and from our offices in various locations. As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing timely and pragmatic legal advice on business transactions, drafting and advising on commercial contracts, and managing legal risks.
You will also have the opportunity to develop internal governance, risk, and compliance-related policies and procedures. Additionally, you may be required to provide education sessions to management and staff on regulatory compliance and legal issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years' experience as in-house counsel, preferably in a multinational setting. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Required Skills:
* Qualified as a solicitor in Australia for unrestricted practice
* Minimum of 4 years' experience as in-house counsel
* Strong knowledge of general commercial law, privacy, competition, and consumer law
