Pacific Automation is a leading supplier of electrical and automation products, solutions, and support for industrial operations across Australia. We support customers in the mining, oil & gas, power & energy, petrochemical, civil, agricultural, and manufacturing industries.

Our business started in 1969 and operates across Australia in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. We are growing fast and looking for the right people to join our team.

About the Role

In this newly crafted role, you'll be the creative force behind Pacific Automation's marketing and sales assets. Based in our Jandakot, Perth WA office working closely with our Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll create engaging digital and offline content that educates, inspires, and supports our customers and sales team.

This role blends storytelling with technical insight, balancing content creation and visual design to build a powerful, consistent brand presence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Content development (primary focus):

Craft compelling, high-quality content including case studies, blog posts, white papers, product articles, emails, and landing pages.

Collaborate with internal experts - Sales, Product Managers, Engineers - to translate technical insights into valuable customer content.

Plan and produce short-form video content, including scripting, storyboarding, and basic editing.

Ensure all content reflects our tone of voice, brand guidelines, and customer needs.

Maintain and optimise content in our website CMS, aligned with SEO best practices.

Contribute to campaigns, product launches, and internal communications with content that supports clear outcomes.

Sales enablement & design (secondary focus):

Design and format PowerPoint decks, brochures, flyers, and one-pagers that help Sales communicate clearly and persuasively.

Ensure all materials are accurate, brand-aligned, and delivered on time.

Support ad-hoc design and formatting needs for internal and external use.

Work closely with the Marketing and Digital teams to align content with campaign goals.

Engage with key stakeholders to validate technical content and incorporate feedback.

Who we are looking for:

Must-haves:

Proven experience in content marketing, communications, or design for B2B or technical/industrial audiences.

Outstanding copywriting and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.

Working knowledge of SEO, CMS platforms, and content best practices.

Proficiency in design tools like Canva, PowerPoint, and ideally Adobe Creative Suite.

Organised and adaptable, able to balance multiple content and design tasks at once.

Nice-to-haves:

Basic video production or editing skills.
